Project Support and Portfolio Analyst Role

We are seeking a skilled Project Support and Portfolio Analyst to join our team at Northern Employment Solutions Inc. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on global projects and collaborate with key experts in Project Management.

The successful candidate will provide project management and control services with a defined governance structure, enabling controls, processes, and systems associated with Knowledge Management. This includes Document Management and Control, Content Management, schedule analysis, and Cost-sensitive analysis for a portfolio of major capital projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform a holistic evaluation of project success through data-driven forecasting.
  2. Identify risks, quantify their impact, and separate high-risk tasks from low ones.
  3. Ensure the document management system contains the latest version of documents.
  4. Liaise with internal and external contractors' document controllers and stakeholders to maintain information integrity.
  5. Prepare reports on key metrics for internal stakeholders.
  6. Participate in knowledge management forums to promote best practices in Knowledge Management.
  7. Provide guidance, support, and training in Knowledge Management best practices.

Requirements:

  • Experience in project controls in the mining industry.
  • English proficiency is a must.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a Project Management role.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Intermediate experience with Primavera P6.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Economics, Math, Engineering, or a Business-related discipline.
