We are seeking a skilled Project Support and Portfolio Analyst to join our team at Northern Employment Solutions Inc. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on global projects and collaborate with key experts in Project Management.
The successful candidate will provide project management and control services with a defined governance structure, enabling controls, processes, and systems associated with Knowledge Management. This includes Document Management and Control, Content Management, schedule analysis, and Cost-sensitive analysis for a portfolio of major capital projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a holistic evaluation of project success through data-driven forecasting.
- Identify risks, quantify their impact, and separate high-risk tasks from low ones.
- Ensure the document management system contains the latest version of documents.
- Liaise with internal and external contractors' document controllers and stakeholders to maintain information integrity.
- Prepare reports on key metrics for internal stakeholders.
- Participate in knowledge management forums to promote best practices in Knowledge Management.
- Provide guidance, support, and training in Knowledge Management best practices.
Requirements:
- Experience in project controls in the mining industry.
- English proficiency is a must.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a Project Management role.
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
- Intermediate experience with Primavera P6.
- A Bachelor's degree in Economics, Math, Engineering, or a Business-related discipline.
