Lifemark is seeking a skilled Certified Pedorthist to join our team in Newfoundland and Labrador. As a leading provider of movement-based healthcare, we are committed to empowering Canadians to live their best lives.
Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience
About the RoleWe are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Pedorthist to provide expert care to our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting biomechanical assessments, creating personalized treatment plans, and providing orthotics and footwear solutions to promote optimal foot health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough biomechanical assessments to identify areas of concern and develop effective treatment plans
- Create custom orthotics and footwear solutions to address client needs
- Educate clients on proper foot care and maintenance techniques to prevent future issues
- Collaborate with our inter-professional team to ensure seamless client care
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing education and training
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A valid Canadian Certified Pedorthist designation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and colleagues
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
