Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Collections Coordinator to join our team at Linds & Associates. As a key member of our accounts receivable team, you will be responsible for managing and resolving outstanding accounts, ensuring timely payment and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily collection calls and emails to resolve outstanding accounts
  • Maintain accurate documentation of collection efforts and update accounting software as necessary
  • Resolve payment application issues with the AR clerk and invoicing issues with the billing coordinator
  • Produce regular reports on collection activity and AR status
  • Respond to staff and client inquiries regarding AR and provide timely updates
  • Process credit card payments, pull client credit reports, and maintain up-to-date Statement of Account contacts
  • Assist the supervisor with monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting activities
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in credit/collections
  • Successful completion of a post-secondary program in Accounting or a related discipline
  • CCP designation completed or in progress
  • Prior experience in a professional services setting is strongly preferred
  • Ability to handle time pressure situations and stress of multiple demands
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite of Applications and legal accounting software
  • Advanced Excel knowledge, including VBA, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and Macros
  • SQL or other programming skills highly desired
