Job Summary

TV2 Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Security Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for enhancing application security by managing the implementation of security controls and addressing end-of-life systems/servers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement security plans at the application level.
  • Define security targets and work with relevant teams to develop actionable plans for achieving these targets.
  • Plan and coordinate remediation activities in conjunction with system/application owners.
  • Report progress and document exceptions in accordance with corporate security processes.
  • Support other security initiatives, including the Information Systems Action Plan (ISAP), by identifying and managing overlaps between various initiatives.
  • Contribute to the education and integration of security best practices within the business.

Requirements

Experience Required:

  • Proven experience collaborating with teams to develop and implement security plans at the application level.
  • Demonstrated expertise in overseeing the deployment of security measures and achieving organizational security targets.
  • Solid understanding of processes for planning and coordinating security remediation activities to align with corporate security objectives.

Benefits

  • Work hours are Monday - Friday, normal 37.5 hours weeks working onsite up to 5 days a week
  • Type of job: Temporary Contractor
  • Length of Contract: 12 months with the possibility of extension
