Food Service Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Subway Radium. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food products.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure they are meeting our high standards.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe working environment for our staff and customers.
- Inventory Management: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, ensuring that we are operating efficiently and effectively.
- Employee Support: Offer mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees, providing diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment.
- Indigenous Support: Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers, providing cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees.
Requirements:
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Permanent employment with 30 to 40 hours per week.
- English language proficiency.
