Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Subway Radium. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Training
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Operations Management
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
    • Establish work schedules
  • Culture and Diversity
    • Offer mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees
    • Provide diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment
  • Indigenous Support
    • Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers
    • Provide cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent position
  • 30 to 40 hours per week
