About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Big Horn Cafe LTD. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our food service establishment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules and deadlines.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
  • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in the food service industry is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a focus on client satisfaction and team collaboration.
