About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Subway Radium. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and quality in our food service operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Develop and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, maintaining accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Work Scheduling: Establish work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet customer demand.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Mentorship and Training: Offer mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees, promoting cultural competency and diversity.
  • Cultural Awareness: Provide diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Indigenous Support: Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers, providing cultural competency training and awareness.
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 30 to 40 hours per week.
