Food and Beverage Operations Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Operations Director to join our team at Sun Peaks Grand Hotel & Conference Centre. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of our food and beverage outlets.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Development: Develop and implement innovative menu concepts that cater to the diverse tastes and preferences of our guests.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the management of inventory, including ordering, receiving, storage, and stock rotation, to minimize waste and ensure optimal inventory levels.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of food and beverage professionals to ensure exceptional service and high-quality food products.
- Financial Management: Prepare and manage departmental budgets, forecast revenue and expenses, and identify opportunities for cost control and revenue growth.
- Quality Control: Maintain high standards of quality, presentation, and service throughout all food and beverage outlets, conducting regular inspections and evaluations to ensure consistency and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Event Management: Coordinate and oversee special events and private functions, ensuring seamless execution focused on guest and employee satisfaction.
- Supplier Management: Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers, distributors, and vendors to negotiate favorable terms, source high-quality ingredients and products, and stay informed about industry trends and best practices.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators, financial metrics, and operational insights.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience of a minimum of 10 years in senior leadership within the hospitality industry, preferably in a resort or upscale restaurant environment.
- Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure, multitask, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in computerized systems and software for inventory management, point-of-sale, and financial analysis.
- Competitive Salary: $80,000.00 per annum.
