Job Description

We are seeking a high-performance, cross-functional professional to serve as the Chief of Staff, reporting directly to the CEO. As the CEO's right-hand person, you will manage internal and external stakeholders, negotiate deals, provide strategic insights, and take ownership of problems that don't fit anywhere else.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the CEO's representative across the organization, managing internal and external stakeholders, negotiating deals, and providing strategic insights.
  • Lead cross-functional projects from inception to completion, streamlining operational processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and scalability.
  • Take ownership of problems that don't fit anywhere else, getting your hands dirty with administrative or menial tasks as needed.
  • Thriving in uncertain conditions, find your own path and take on projects that will make an impact on the organization.
  • Pitch the CEO with your ideas to improve both his effectiveness as a leader and his reach and impact on the organization.
  • Investigate market trends, competitive threats, and emerging opportunities to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement across the organization.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, partners, and advisors.
  • Be proactive and stay one step ahead of leadership to anticipate the business' needs.
Ideal Qualities
  • 8+ years of exceptional experience in startups, tech, venture capital, consulting, and/or finance.
  • Strong quantitative and written communication skills.
  • Experience at a high-growth startup from seed or Series A to Series C or D funding rounds.
  • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with ambiguity and uncertainty.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and willingness to roll up sleeves to get the job done.
  • Atypically versatile, thinking and acting like a CEO, able to dive into many roles and do them well.
