Job Description

The role of a Safety Engineer in a Distribution Department involves providing planning, establishing, implementing, and maintaining safety and environmental measures to ensure compliance with corporate and local HSE requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing advice on maintaining a safe working environment in compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Conducting job site safety compliance inspections, including hazard analyses and safe work procedures.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of the hazard control system, policies, and procedures.
  • Developing and delivering safety training programs.
  • Reviewing and analyzing injury data to prepare recommendations for corrective action.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 8 years of experience in safety/operational roles, preferably in the oil & gas or petrochemical industry. Key qualifications include deep knowledge of occupational health, safety, and environmental compliance, as well as the ability to develop and implement comprehensive health and safety programs.

Expected Salary Range:

$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
