We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Safety Manager to join our team at Centerfire Energy Group, an Indigenous-owned full-service industrial and commercial contractor.

About the Role

As a Regional Safety Manager, you will play a critical role in promoting and maintaining a safe work environment, protecting the well-being of our employees and stakeholders. You will oversee the implementation of health and safety programs, policies, and procedures across multiple site locations within the RMWB region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of field-level safety advisors and work with the Director of Health & Safety to develop, monitor, and evaluate comprehensive health and safety programs and services.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the corporate HSE management system, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Oversee the hiring, training, and performance evaluation of field safety advisors/admins.
  • Maintain effective relationships with regulatory authorities, clients, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate WCB claims, manage modified work programs, and provide guidance on risk assessments, project safety plans, and control measures.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in safety, with at least 3+ years' experience as a health & safety lead/manager.
  • Certification in Health and Safety, such as NCSO, OH&S Diploma, CRSP, or a recognized safety designation.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with experience using SharePoint, Teams, and Internet search capabilities.
  • A valid Class 5 Driver's license with a clean driver's abstract.
