Recruitment Specialist

Job Summary
The First Nations Financial Management Board is seeking a skilled Recruitment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will be responsible for developing and executing effective recruitment strategies to attract top-tier candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of recruitment strategies to meet business needs;
- Source and attract high-caliber candidates through various channels;
- Conduct phone screens, schedule interviews, and create interview questions;
- Determine sourcing and attraction strategies to increase the ability to attract indigenous candidates;
- Ensure compliance with local and federal employment standards;
- Maintain employee files and records;
- Understand and apply HR policies and guidelines;
- Promote a consistent company culture aligned with FMB values;
- Support initiatives in employee health, safety, and wellness.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Human Resource Management or relevant experience;
- Minimum of two years recruitment experience;
- Previous experience, knowledge, or understanding in Indigenous culture an asset;
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills;
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail;
- Knowledge of Canadian federal employment/labour laws and general human resources policies and procedures;
- Effective working skills of Microsoft and Adobe software products.

Working Conditions
- This position is based out of Winnipeg, MB. Hybrid work arrangements may be considered;
- May require occasional national travel.
