Recruitment Specialist

Job Summary
The First Nations Financial Management Board is seeking a skilled Recruitment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will be responsible for developing and executing effective recruitment strategies to attract top-tier candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of recruitment strategies to meet business needs;
- Source and attract high-caliber candidates through various channels;
- Coordinate the recruitment process, including interviews and reference checks;
- Maintain accurate records and reports on recruitment activities;
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs;
- Develop and implement effective onboarding processes for new employees;
- Ensure compliance with employment standards and regulations.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field;
- Minimum of two years of recruitment experience;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks;
- Knowledge of Canadian employment laws and regulations;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other HR software.
