We are seeking an entry-level Architect to join our team in Vancouver. This role involves supporting team members with architectural tasks, preparing programming space, and developing working drawings using Revit.

About the Role
  • Provide support to team members with various architectural tasks
  • Prepare programming space for studies and projects
  • Ensure building code is up to date and adhere to any legal requirements
  • Develop working drawings using Revit
  • Assist in preparing drawing submission, building permit, and other construction administration tasks
  • Participate in deficiency review, site details, and site visits as required
  • Review shop drawings and submittals
  • Other tasks contributing to AIBC internship goals
Requirements
  • Eligibility for registration with the AIBC program
  • M. Arch in Architecture and/or an institution recognized by the AIBC/CACB
  • Previous experience working in an office setting for a minimum of two-three years
  • Strong Adobe skills (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Proficiency in Revit
  • Physical model making skills
  • Computer rendering and digital visualization skills
  • Knowledge of the BC Building Code
  • Good work ethic and enthusiasm for working as a team
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Well-organized with good interpersonal skills
  • Legal ability to work in Canada
  • A valid driver's license
  • A desire to build their career
