Anatomical Pathologist Position in North Vancouver

Based at Lions Gate Hospital, the North Shore Pathology Group is seeking a skilled Anatomical Pathologist to provide anatomical pathology services for our region.
Salary and CompensationThe remuneration levels for this position are set by the MOH master agreement with the Doctors of BC, providing a competitive salary range of $325,000 - $425,000 per year.

Job DescriptionThis full-time position involves working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, analyzing and diagnosing surgical pathology and non-gynecologic cytology specimens. You will be responsible for:
- Providing accurate and timely diagnoses for patients and healthcare providers
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A strong educational background in pathology, including a medical degree and post-residency subspecialty training
- Certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
- Current licensure as a physician in British Columbia
