Bennett Jones is a premier business law firm seeking a skilled Evening Document Processing Specialist to join our team in Toronto.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and edit complex legal documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and PDFs.
  • Convert PDFs into Word, Excel, or other formats as required.
  • Create and edit mail merges, inserts, graphs, and objects.
  • Troubleshoot document issues and provide coaching when needed.
  • Generate blacklines using Workshare Compare and Litera Forte.
  • Transcribe dictation using BigHand and Word Digital Dictation.
  • Stay up-to-date with firm software and technologies.

Requirements:

  • At least three years of experience as a legal document processor.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and self-motivation.
  • Strong word processing skills, including accuracy, spelling, grammar, and proofreading.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Workshare Compare, and BigHand software.
  • Basic understanding of iManage and saving/importing documents.
  • Bilingualism in French and English is considered an asset.
