Computed Tomography Technologist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team at Trillium Health Partners. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized CT procedures, working collaboratively with other team members to ensure quality patient-focused care, and contributing to the ongoing quality assurance program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT procedures with precision and accuracy, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in the quality assurance program, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient outcomes.
- Facilitate work area assignments, prioritizing tasks and coordinating with other team members to optimize workflow.
- Work cooperatively with other diagnostic imaging team members to troubleshoot equipment, ensure proper stocking of rooms, and monitor resource utilization.
- Support a customer-focused environment, providing exceptional care and service to patients and families.
- Perform other duties as required to support the team and achieve departmental goals.
Requirements:
- Current certification in Diagnostic Radiography from a recognized academic institution and the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists.
- Registration with the CMRITO.
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience in CT.
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities.
- Critical thinking skills and ability to work independently.
- Demonstrated ability to stay current within the profession.
- Preference will be given to candidates with hospital experience.
- Satisfactory attendance and performance record required.
- Preference will be given to technologists who have successfully completed the Computed Tomography Imaging Certification (CTIC).
