Position Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine and advanced CT imaging procedures.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure high-quality patient-centered care.
  • Participate in the ongoing quality assurance initiatives.
  • Manage work area assignments effectively.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and Resource Technologist to prioritize and coordinate tasks.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
  • Ensure rooms are adequately stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Collaborate with other diagnostic imaging professionals to optimize resource utilization.
  • Foster a customer-focused environment.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Note: The location of any position may be subject to change based on operational requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Current certification in Diagnostic Radiography from an accredited institution and membership with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists.
  • Registration with the CMRITO is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in CT imaging.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational capabilities and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Critical thinking skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Commitment to staying updated within the profession.
  • Preference for candidates with prior hospital experience.
  • A satisfactory attendance and performance record is essential.
  • Preference will be given to those who have completed the Computed Tomography Imaging Certification (CTIC).
