Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Trillium Health Partners. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging department, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized CT procedures, working collaboratively with other team members to ensure quality patient-focused care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT procedures with precision and accuracy, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in quality assurance programs to maintain high standards of patient care.
  • Assist in the coordination of work assignments and prioritize tasks to optimize workflow.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and ensure proper functioning of imaging equipment.
  • Contribute to a customer-focused environment, providing exceptional patient care and service.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the team and achieve departmental goals.

Requirements:

  • Current certification in Diagnostic Radiography from a recognized academic institution and the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists.
  • Registration with the CMRITO.
  • Minimum of 1 year of related experience in CT.
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Critical thinking skills and ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to stay current within the profession.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with hospital experience.
  • Satisfactory attendance and performance record required.
  • Preference will be given to technologists who have successfully completed the Computed Tomography Imaging Certification (CTIC).
