Work Schedule: Flexible Shifts (Days, Evenings, Nights, and Weekends); 8 and 10 hour shifts

Position Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine and specialized CT imaging procedures.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure patient-centered care.
  • Participate in the ongoing quality assurance initiatives.
  • Manage work area assignments effectively.
  • Work alongside team members and Resource Technologist to prioritize and coordinate workloads.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues as needed.
  • Ensure adequate supplies and stocking of imaging rooms.
  • Collaborate with diagnostic imaging colleagues to optimize resource utilization.
  • Foster a customer-oriented environment.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Note: The location of any position may be adjusted based on operational requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Current certification in Diagnostic Radiography from an accredited institution and the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists.
  • Registration with the CMRITO is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in CT imaging.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational capabilities and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Critical thinking skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Commitment to staying current in the field.
  • Preference for candidates with hospital experience.
  • A satisfactory attendance and performance record is essential.
  • Preference will be given to those who have completed the Computed Tomography Imaging Certification (CTIC).
