Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team at Trillium Health Partners. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized CT procedures, working collaboratively with other team members to ensure quality patient-focused care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT procedures with precision and accuracy, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in the ongoing quality assurance program to maintain high standards of patient care.
- Assist in the coordination of work area assignments and prioritize tasks to optimize efficiency.
- Work cooperatively with other team members to troubleshoot equipment and ensure proper functioning.
- Contribute to a customer-focused environment by providing exceptional patient care and service.
- Perform other duties as required to support the team and achieve departmental goals.
Requirements:
- Current certification in Diagnostic Radiography from a recognized academic institution and the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists.
- Registration with the CMRITO.
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience in CT.
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities.
- Critical thinking skills and ability to work independently.
- Demonstrated ability to stay current within the profession.
- Preference will be given to candidates with hospital experience.
- Satisfactory attendance and performance record required.
- Preference will be given to technologists who have successfully completed the Computed Tomography Imaging Certification (CTIC).
