As a Guest Services Representative with Executive Suites Hotel and Resort Squamish, you will have the opportunity to create lasting memories for every guest. Your role will involve welcoming guests from the moment they walk in the doors and providing exceptional customer service throughout their stay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Checking guests in and out of the hotel per Executive Hotel Standards
- Handling guest complaints and concerns in an efficient and timely manner
- Overseeing VIP guests, arrivals, and departures
- Coordinating and multi-tasking job duties in a busy environment
- Cross-training in all functions of the Front office department: Night Audit, Switchboard, etc.
- Reservations - comfortable with booking reservations
- Processing guests' accounts
- Working with a balanced cash float
- Providing excellent customer service as per hotel standards
- Greeting guests as they enter and exit the hotel
- Providing information regarding the hotel, town attractions, activities, etc.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Highly responsible and reliable
- Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
- Ability to work well unsupervised, at a fast pace while maintaining quality standards
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Impeccable grooming and presentation
- Completely fluent English language skills, both written and verbal
- Commitment to provide excellent service and exceed guests' expectations
- Must be available to work varying shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays
