What is the Opportunity?

Royal Bank of Canada is seeking a highly skilled Associate Branch Director to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the branch, including sales management, human resource management, operations control, and supervision of compliance. You will provide leadership and support to Investment Advisors and support staff in hiring, training, and motivating. You will also assess performance, provide developmental opportunities, coaching, and feedback as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage branch profitability while meeting strategic targets through sales management, human resource management, operations control, and supervision of compliance.
  • Provide leadership and support to Investment Advisors and support staff in hiring, training, and motivating.
  • Assess performance, provide developmental opportunities, coaching, and feedback as required.
  • Develop and maintain business relationships throughout RBC Financial Group and within the community.

Requirements:

  • Post-Secondary Education (College or University)
  • Retail Brokerage Experience with a minimum of 2 years Investment Advisor experience or similar experience
  • Demonstrated experience in dealing with ambiguity and managing multiple operations and servicing activities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to engage a diverse team that includes branch staff, middle office, and internal and external partners
  • Experience in managing multiple priorities and dealing with challenging and complex situations to drive success
  • Proven experience in leading a team, coaching, and developing and motivating others
  • Decisive and Results Driven
  • CSC, CPH, BM license preferred
