Job Summary

As Director, SMB Sales, you will lead and inspire a high-performing team to drive TELUS' market share across Western Canada. You will balance strategic vision with hands-on leadership, ensuring your team excels at delivering innovative solutions to small and medium businesses while achieving ambitious growth targets.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop Winning Strategies: Design and execute the sales strategy to drive SMB growth in Western Canada.
  2. Inspire and Lead: Coach and develop a team of Sales Managers and Representatives to exceed ambitious goals and KPIs.
  3. Optimize Performance: Analyze sales activities and KPIs, celebrating wins and applying coaching strategies to maintain momentum.
  4. Collaborate for Success: Partner with Marketing and Product teams to refine campaigns, products, and processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  5. Drive Customer Success: Guide your team in prospecting, proposing, and closing deals while managing customer lifecycle migrations.
  6. Be an Ambassador: Represent TELUS as a senior leader, demonstrating our values and fostering strong relationships across the organization and community.
Requirements

You are a proven leader with an entrepreneurial mindset, an eye for innovation, and an innate ability to inspire teams. You thrive in fast-paced environments, balance strategic thinking with tactical execution, and excel at translating data into actionable strategies.

The ideal candidate will have a track record of building and developing high-performing sales teams that consistently exceed targets. They will also possess mastery of sales methodologies, coaching frameworks, and CRM platforms like Salesforce.com.

Benefits and Compensation

The salary range for this role is $130,000-$194,000 per year, with an estimated total compensation package valued at $210,000-$314,000. In addition, TELUS offers a comprehensive total rewards package, including minimum 3 weeks of vacation, flexible benefits plan, and career growth opportunities.
