Position Overview:
The Franchise Onboarding Specialist plays a critical role in supporting new franchisees in their journey to opening a successful Firehouse Subs restaurant. This position is responsible for guiding franchisees through the onboarding process, ensuring they meet the necessary requirements and are equipped to operate within Firehouse Subs standards and policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with new franchisees to provide guidance and support throughout the onboarding process.
- Coordinate and schedule training for new franchisees at a Certified Training Restaurant (CTR).
- Follow up with both the training franchisee and the Certified Restaurant Trainer (CRT) to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
- Travel throughout Canada to facilitate pre-opening training for team members and staff.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of operations experience in quick service restaurants, retail, food and beverage, or a similar industry.
- Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to develop effective professional relationships with franchisees, their teams, and management.
- Skilled in root-cause problem-solving methodologies.
- Ability to present operational information both orally and in writing (PowerPoint).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
