Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Farm Worker to join our team at eNature Greenhouses Inc. As a Farm Worker, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to crop cultivation, maintenance, and harvesting. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail, strong work ethic, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Crop Cultivation: Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops to ensure optimal growth and yield.
- Harvesting: Harvest crops at the right time to ensure maximum quality and freshness.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on farm equipment and machinery to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Quality Control: Inspect crops for quality and freshness, and remove any defective or damaged produce.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of crop yields, maintenance tasks, and quality control checks.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: Experience an asset.
- Physical Demands: Physically demanding role that requires standing for extended periods, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Work Environment: Hot, wet/damp, and non-smoking work environment.
- Work Setting: Rural area, willing to relocate.
