Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Farm Worker to join our team at eNature Greenhouses Inc. As a Farm Worker, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our operations by performing a variety of tasks related to crop cultivation, maintenance, and harvesting.
Key Responsibilities- Crop Management: Grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to size, shape, color, and volume to maximize market value.
- Greenhouse Maintenance: Clean and maintain greenhouses to ensure optimal growing conditions.
- Fertilization and Irrigation: Mix and apply fertilizers, and operate automated irrigation systems to promote healthy crop growth.
- Harvesting and Handling: Harvest crops, clean and prepare them for market, and handle equipment and machinery with care.
- Disease Detection and Prevention: Monitor crops for signs of disease or pests, and take action to prevent their spread.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on farm equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: Experience an asset.
- Work Environment: Hot, wet/damp, non-smoking environment.
- Work Setting: Rural area, willing to relocate.
