Job Summary:

The Town of Powerview-Pinefalls is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Administrative Officer to lead our municipal administration team. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the municipal administration team, ensuring effective implementation of council priorities and policies.
  • Develop and manage the annual financial plan, including the general operating budget, capital budget, and five-year capital plan.
  • Oversee the taxation process, including the collection of overdue accounts and tax sale process.
  • Recruit, develop, and manage municipal employees, ensuring a high-performing team that delivers excellent service to our community.
  • Collaborate with council and senior staff to advance the municipality's economic development plan and contribute to the growth and prosperity of our community.

Requirements:

  • Minimum five years of experience in municipal administration, financial management, and human resource management.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with council, staff, and the community.
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline, such as public administration, business administration, or a related field.
