Key Responsibilities

The Chief Administrative Officer will play a crucial role in the Town of Powerview-Pinefalls, overseeing various aspects of municipal administration.

Administration
  • Organize and attend council meetings, ensuring by-laws and resolutions are up-to-date.
  • Recommend new initiatives to council and implement council priorities.
Financial Management
  • Prepare and monitor the annual financial plan, including the general operating budget and capital budget.
  • Administer the taxation process, including the collection of overdue accounts and the tax sale process.
Human Resource Management
  • Recruit and develop all municipal employees.

The ideal candidate will possess at least five years of experience in municipal administration, financial management, and human resource management. Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills are essential for this role. A post-secondary education in a relevant discipline is also desirable.
