Job Summary:

Stevens E3 is seeking an experienced Exhibit Installer to join our team in the role of Exhibit Installation Manager. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring that exhibits are installed and dismantled in a timely and efficient manner, while meeting the requirements of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and create verified pull lists and identify crating requirements.
  • Assemble and stage exhibits or products for client viewing and quality control, and disassemble staged exhibits, pack effectively and safely, and create bill of materials.
  • Transport products, install and dismantle exhibits, and assign job tasks and communicate relevant information/expected results to show service personnel on-site.
  • Motivate on-site staff, implement and ensure adherence to Health and Safety policies, and arrange special requests of clients.
  • Supervise on-site show labour, handle on-site problems, recommend cost-saving measures, and problem-solve on-site.
  • Complete reports concerning field service jobs, prepare outbound labels/bills of lading, and submit paperwork to show management.
  • Document on-site changes and associated costs for client approval, and complete reports concerning field services jobs.
  • Follow standards and procedures, make adjustments as necessary, fabricate components in accordance with time-frame available, laminate and finish according to specifications, and use tools for measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling materials.
  • Complete preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions, evaluate new equipment and techniques, and make recommendations to management.
  • Comply with all rules and regulations, and maintain a safe and clean working environment.
  • Requirements include completion of secondary school, completion of a three to four year apprenticeship program, or a combination of over four years of work experience in the trade and some high school, college or industry courses in carpentry.
  • A valid passport and ability to travel within Canada and the United States are required, as well as a willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed, and an ability to operate under significant time constraints and pressure.
