About the Job

CROSS MERGE SERVICES INC. is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Payroll Processing: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, prepare statements of earnings for employees, and reconcile issued payrolls to bank statements.
  • Maintenance of Records: Maintain records of employee attendance, leave and overtime to calculate pay and benefit entitlements using manual or computerized systems.
  • Data Entry and Management: Perform data entry and maintain accurate records in Quick Books and other accounting software.
  • Communication: Inform employees about payroll matters and benefit plans, and compile statistics and reports as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.
  • Computer and Technology Skills: Proficient in Quick Books, MS Access, MS Excel, and MS Word.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, flexible, organized, and reliable.
