The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Branch Administrator to join our team at Refrigerative Supply Limited. As a key member of our branch team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our sales and warehouse staff, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Branch Manager in all aspects of administration, including inventory control, daily cash reports, and bank deposits.
  • Provide administrative support to sales and warehouse staff during busy periods, including answering customer inquiries and resolving supplier receiving issues.
  • Conduct inventory checks and file packing slips, identifying shipping errors and notifying the purchasing agent or handling supplier shipping errors.
  • Prepare freight claims and investigate inventory issues, assisting in branch inventory clean-up and participating in annual inventory count.
  • Close Moneris terminals, balance cash reports, and prepare and reconcile bank deposits.
  • Handle customer account inquiries, maintain warranty books, and act as a liaison between sales staff and head-office when dealing with warranty inquiries.

Requirements:

  • Deliver superior customer service and handle difficult customers with diplomacy and tact.
  • Capable of following written instructions and documented procedures, with a strong understanding of basic inventory, warehousing, and stocking procedures.
  • Able to work accurately and efficiently, with a strong attention to detail and basic computer/keyboarding skills.
  • Problem-solving and analytical ability, with a motivated self-starter attitude and a comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated integrity and ethical standards, with a professional demeanor and effective listening, communication, and negotiating skills.
  • Judgment and decision-making ability, with a team player attitude and superior organizational skills.
  • Experience in an administrative role, with a minimum of 2 years' experience and a high school diploma.
