We are seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to join our team at Triple J Canada Consulting Inc.
Job SummaryThe Accounting Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial transactions, and providing technical advice to improve productivity and product quality.
Key Responsibilities- Schedule Work: Plan and coordinate work schedules to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Train Workers: Provide guidance and training to employees on accounting duties and policies.
- Prepare Reports: Compile and submit financial reports to management.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the smooth operation of accounting equipment and arrange for maintenance and repair work.
- Problem-Solving: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Financial Transactions: Ensure accuracy of financial transactions and maintain accurate records.
- Work Coordination: Coordinate activities with other work units or departments.
- Education: College/CEGEP degree in Accounting or related field.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in accounting or related field.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in accounting software, including QuickBooks and Simply Accounting.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 32.5 hours per week.
The Accounting Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to work under pressure.
