Promises Accounting is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Bookkeeper to join our team. As an Accounting Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, including GAAP and IFRS.
- Payroll Administration: Prepare and process payroll, including calculating salaries, wages, and benefits.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
- Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, MS Access, MS Outlook, MS Windows, and MS Office.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Physical Demands: Ability to work independently with attention to detail.
- Accurate: Ability to maintain accurate financial records.
- Client Focus: Ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Dependability: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Efficient Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
