About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Bookkeeper to join our team at PROMISES ACCOUNTING. As an Accounting Bookkeeper, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial records and ensuring the accuracy of our financial statements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, including trial balances, income statements, and balance sheets, to management and stakeholders.
  • Accounting Software: Utilize accounting software, such as Sage Accounting Software, to manage and analyze financial data.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to management to inform business decisions.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
  • Software: Proficient in accounting software, such as Sage Accounting Software, and Microsoft Office.
