About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Bookkeeper to join our team at PROMISES ACCOUNTING. As an Accounting Bookkeeper, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial records and accounts of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial statements.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Prepare and reconcile financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Tax Preparation: Prepare and submit tax returns for clients, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, providing recommendations to clients and management.
  • Client Communication: Communicate with clients to understand their financial needs and provide guidance on financial matters.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, MS Access, MS Outlook, MS Windows, and MS Office. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
