About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Bookkeeper to join our team at PROMISES ACCOUNTING. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Software Management: Manage and maintain our accounting software, ensuring accurate and efficient financial data processing.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, providing recommendations to management.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in accounting software.
