Our Challenge

We are seeking a highly driven senior business analyst to assist the company in improving business efficiency.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing new business strategies and models, communicating their benefits to management, and creating monthly reports on business performance.

This role requires frequent interaction with developers, project managers, front office staff, quants, and other functions.

The successful candidate will participate in design and analysis, including understanding deliveries encompassing pricing, risk, trade flow, and current and future state architecture and functional processes across the Equity derivatives business technology framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate requirements from the front office and Risk management that include complex business and financial solutions.
  • Interact regularly with developers, project managers, front office staff, quants, and other functions.
  • Participate in design and analysis, including understanding deliveries encompassing pricing, risk, trade flow.
  • Understand and document current and future state architecture and functional processes across the Equity derivatives business technology framework.
  • Contribute significantly to the design and analysis of the trading platform, including understanding deliveries encompassing pricing, risk, trade flow.
  • Collaborate closely with FO, Quant, MR, various support teams, and other IT teams daily.
  • Analyze regression & QA results and formally document the analysis, providing commentary to business users.
  • Work closely with QA and DEV teams for root cause analysis of system upgrade GUI/batch test issues and breaks.

This is a challenging role that requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as a good understanding of P&L analysis, attribution, risks, Greeks, and VaR.

A strong background in data analysis, including assessing data, performing data mining & mapping, defining data lineage & transformation rules, is essential.

The ideal candidate will also have experience with SQL, Python or other programming languages, and 3rd party applications such as Sophis, Murex, Calypso, etc.
