Job Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for investigating and identifying strategies to optimize business operations and services, and informing business decisions. You will define business requirements to inform technology build and operations by sourcing and analyzing relevant data, reviewing and documenting business processes and collaborating with business stakeholders.

You will source business and market data to evaluate the effect of projects on business results. Additionally, you will assess the efficiency and performance of technology (software, hardware and the wider IT system) to deliver expected business results.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Eliciting requirements and analyzing feasibility to ensure solutions/initiatives achieve the expected business outcomes.
  • Supporting various project teams across the project lifecycle to ensure development is aligned with the business requirements.
  • Developing informative, coherent, and usable project documents (project artifacts) for multiple stakeholders covering functional and non-functional business requirements.
  • Applying depth of domain & functional expertise for the assigned portfolio to drive the expected business value.
  • Breaking down strategic problems, and analyzing data and information to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Building test cases in order to validate business requirements and End-User Testing results.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business optimization and process improvement methodologies, as well as excellent communication and analytical skills.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A foundational level of proficiency in Agile Delivery and Development, Data Analysis, Learning Agility, and experience with Livelink document management application.
  • An intermediate level of proficiency in Process Improvement and Optimization, Organization Process Optimization, Business Architecture Frameworks, Stakeholder Analysis and Management, Digital Fluency, Systems Thinking, Verbal & Written Communication Skills, Collaboration & Team Skills, Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills, and Data-Driven Decision Making.
  • An advanced level of proficiency in Business Requirements Definition and Analysis, Insights Development and Reporting, Application Functional Design, and Functional Analysis.

You should also have a minimum of 6-10 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
