Store Systems and Administration Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Store Systems and Administration Specialist to join our team at London Drugs. This is a critical role that requires strong administrative skills, technical aptitude, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain store hardware systems, including point-of-sale systems, operational software programs, and communication networks.
- Perform regular cleaning and maintenance of equipment, such as MSR hardware.
- Conduct regular system backups in accordance with established procedures and schedules.
- Serve as the primary store contact for the Information Technology department, handling problem reporting and resolution, and systems and software deployment.
- Manage Problem Incident Report logs.
- Print and place in-store signage.
- Ensure accurate pricing throughout the entire store.
- Manage store funds, including cash, stamps, LD gift cards, coupons, and other assets.
- Count store funds and prepare bank deposits.
- Administer point-of-sale charity fundraising programs, such as hospital lotteries.
- Handle administrative tasks related to the point-of-sale system, including manager override numbers.
- Oversee Transit Passes and Lottery Tickets programs (where applicable).
- Implement other programs assigned by the store manager or head office, such as employee uniforms, employee lockers, bulletin boards, store supplies, etc.
- Support the company's mission statement, 'To Provide a Superior Shopping Experience Everyday.'
- Deliver prompt and efficient customer service based on the 10/10 Sales Challenge philosophy.
- Demonstrate strong administrative skills, technical and mathematical aptitude, and professionalism.
- Showcase ability to maintain confidentiality, particularly regarding company revenues, pricing information, and over/short data.
- Exhibit effective communication, training, and coordination of efforts within the Store Systems and Administration team.
- A competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
