Lightspeed is seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Representative to join our growing North American/Outbound Sales team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by generating and qualifying leads, and serving as the first point of contact between potential new customers and the Lightspeed brand.

About the Role

  • Identify and introduce our products to decision-makers through phone, email, and in-person communications
  • Engage and qualify new leads through various channels, including phone, email, text, and social media
  • Collaborate with inbound sales teams to manage the handoff to Account Executives to demo software to prospective customers
  • Work with the marketing and sales teams to develop strategies to grow our sales pipeline based on your conversations and feedback from prospects
  • Consistently meet clearly defined monthly, quarterly, and annual goals

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in sales or a call center environment, with a proven track record of success
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, including strong listening, verbal, and written communication
  • Tech-savvy, with the ability to clearly explain technology to others
  • Strong written and spoken English
  • An entrepreneurial and agile mindset, with a bias toward action and the ability to pivot when needed to meet business needs and objectives
