About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Tandoori Xpress. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our customers receive the highest quality food and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including specialty foods, to meet the demands of our customers.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
  • Plan menus and ensure that food meets our high quality standards.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent service and food quality.
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Dependability, efficiency, and a strong work ethic.
Work Environment

Our kitchen is a fast-paced and dynamic environment where you will be working with a team of experienced chefs and kitchen staff. You will be required to work in a restaurant setting, with the possibility of working in a catering firm environment.
