Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Logistics Supervisor to join our team at Good Landstar Ltd. This is a permanent position that requires a strong background in logistics and transportation management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure smooth operation of our transportation and warehouse facilities.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
  • Ensure the maintenance and repair of computer equipment and machinery is carried out in a timely manner.
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work to be performed by external contractors.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Recruit and hire staff as needed to support our logistics operations.
  • Train workers in duties and policies to ensure they are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
  • Conduct performance reviews to assess employee performance and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure it is completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as required.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure we have the necessary stock levels to meet customer demand.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of our organization to ensure we are meeting our business objectives.
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience in a logistics or transportation management role.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Windows.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
