Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation and Logistics Manager to join our team in Blacks Harbour. As a key member of our logistics and supply chain team, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless and timely receipt and shipping of inventory, as well as managing our transportation budgets and expenses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Outbound Customer Order Process (OTC-Order to Cash)
    • Supervise the Customer Service team (Customer Fulfillment Representatives)
    • Complete month end reporting and month end closing activities on a timely basis
    • Liaise with Sales to address and resolve order blocks and customer service issues at large
    • Ensure orders are processed to company standards ensuring customer Requested Delivery Dates (RDD) are attained
  • Claims and Customer Deduction Investigations
  • Transportation Budgets and Expenses
  • Transportation Performance Metrics
  • Carrier Relations and Onboarding
  • Third-Party Payment Process
  • Monthly Accrual Process
  • Liaison with Logistics Coordinators
  • Support to Other Logistics/Supply Chain Team Members

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Order to Cash value optimization Food and/or related CPG industries.
  • Detailed understanding of Transportation activities, with some experience in inventory, supply planning and order to cash
  • Experienced with multiple transportation modes (Ocean, Road, Intermodal)
  • Understanding of Customs, Brokerage, and International Trade
  • Effective problem solver, able to determine root-cause of issues.
  • Post-Secondary Education in a Supply Chain discipline
  • Solid understanding of SAP- PTP/OTC/APO/SNP portion or other ERP systems
  • Well versed in all Microsoft applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and address transportation challenges.
  • Strong organizational abilities
  • Ability to set priorities and reprioritize in a fluid environment
  • Demonstrated ability to perform in a team environment
