At Destination Canada, we are seeking a Strategic Communications Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our communications department, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing effective communications strategies that meet the needs of our industry partners and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities will include coordinating the communication of industry intelligence to industry partners, developing and maintaining relationships with industry communications professionals, and supporting on media relations and crisis communications. You will also have the opportunity to work on data-led communications and presentations, and contribute to communication plans for our events.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of corporate communications and media relations practices, as well as excellent writing and editing skills. You will also need to be able to manage multiple priorities and projects, and work effectively in a team environment.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced communications professional who is able to think strategically and creatively. If you have a track record of successful media campaigns and a deep understanding of the current media landscape, we encourage you to apply.
