Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Lead to join our Prince George team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the sales development efforts, including opportunity/lead generation, client management, proposal preparations, contract negotiations, and client management.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute sales strategies to exceed quarterly and yearly win targets
- Manage all sales-related aspects for existing key clients and develop new opportunities and client relationships
- Collaborate with operations to ensure seamless delivery of services
- Prepare and present proposals to clients
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients
- Provide coaching and support to the team on proposal preparation and client management
- 8+ years of sales and marketing experience in Canada
- Experience in consulting engineering, preferably with EPCM or PM/CM services
- Formal sales training an asset
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to call, connect, and interact with potential clients and internal stakeholders
- Persuasive and goal-oriented
- Energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor
- Able to professionally and confidently communicate with clients and executives
- Excellent team player
- Previous proposal development experience
- Experience with Salesforce is an asset
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite
