Key Responsibilities- Merchandising and Visual Display: Oversee in-store merchandising activities, projects, and services to ensure a clean, safe, accessible, and appealing customer experience.
- Team Leadership: Collaborate with deployment teams, field operations, and store managers to track priorities, deadlines, material needs, and project execution.
- Performance Management: Supervise merchandising team members, assign projects, and reallocate tasks as needed to ensure optimal performance.
- Compliance and Quality: Verify compliance with planograms and merchandising standards, and evaluate resets and maintain store merchandise.
- Training and Development: Recruit, train, and develop merchandising team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee adherence to loss prevention and security policies, and perform all other tasks necessary for the smooth operation of the store.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 2 years of experience in customer service/retail, or 1 year in a RONA store, with 1 year of team management experience and 1 year of merchandising experience.
- Skills: Project management experience, availability to work nights and weekends, and experience operating motorized equipment and practical knowledge of basic hand tools.
