Position Scope:

The Director of HR Business Partnerships will lead a team of HRBPs and HR Generalists, supporting divisions including National Office, Clinic Operations, Medical Assessments, and Seniors Wellness.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide strategic direction to the HRBP team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
  2. Oversee the delivery of HR services and support to all divisions, including employee relations, talent management, performance management, and organizational development.
  3. Partner with senior leaders to develop HR strategies that drive employee engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness.
  4. Lead the development and implementation of HR policies, programs, and initiatives to support a positive employee experience and foster a culture of inclusion and diversity.
  5. Mentor and develop HRBP team members, providing guidance, coaching, and support to enhance their skills and capabilities.
  6. Manage HR projects and initiatives, ensuring timely and successful implementation in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Required Attributes and Knowledge:

  • An entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving initiatives in a fast-paced setting.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve results.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with senior leaders and key stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a healthcare or related industry is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic HR planning, organizational development, and change management.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification (e.g., CHRP, CHRL) preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role overseeing HRBP teams.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, HR policies, and regulatory requirements in Canada.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite.
