We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Interventionist to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority. This is a permanent full-time position, with 75 hours worked bi-weekly.

The successful candidate will oversee the development, implementation, and coordination of clinical treatment programs for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The Clinical Interventionist will work collaboratively with members of the team and community partners/organizations to provide a holistic, client/family-centered approach.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • Registration/licensure with the appropriate professional regulatory organization as applicable.
  • At least 2 years of previous experience working with children with behavioral and neurodevelopmental disorders, particularly autism spectrum disorders.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of best practices in intervention for young children with ASD.
  • Expertise with the DSM-IV diagnostic system, case management, principles of behavioral management, and psychological testing.
  • Ability to formulate and implement treatment plans to promote positive adaptive behaviors, independence, and skills development.
  • Previous experience providing supervision and leadership within a multi-disciplinary team environment.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills.

This role offers a competitive salary range of $76,051 - $97,439 per annum, based on a 37.5 hour work week, plus opportunities for additional compensation through overtime pay.
